2009 BCSRC HRC Quad-Upland Hunting Test
and 5th Annual
Youth Hunt Extravaganza
Date: December 12 & 13, 2009. Other Info: The Upland tests are designed to test a dog's ability to quarter and flush upland game. Each dog is required to have two successful and controlled flushes and must honor another working dog to earn one pass. It is not necessary for the dog to retrieve each flush, though it is desired. Live pheasants are used in all BCSRC Upland tests.
Hot lunches will be available for FREE on the test grounds. It's a pot-luck style lunch so be prepared for some good home cookin'! You might find a recipe or two to take home as well.
BCSRC will also host a FREE tailgate party on Saturday evening!
If you leave the test grounds prior to the awards ceremonies and would like your ribbons mailed to you, we ask that you fill out an envelope with your address at HQ and leave $5 to cover postage (or bring your own self-addressed, stamped envelope). The Youth Hunt: The Youth Hunt Extravaganza is Saturday, Dec. 12th starting at 9:00 am. Each contestant must be 16 years or under and will be able to run a Started or Seasoned waterfowl test. If the young handler does not have a dog, we have Club Members who can provide one. Prizes will be awarded and games will be played throughout the day. The kids will have a blast!
